About GEESYS Tech India Pvt. Ltd.
GEESYS develops electronic products and industrial automation solutions, including embedded control systems, wireless monitoring devices, Modbus communication gateways, sensor-based controllers and power control products.
We are looking for a practical, hands-on Electronics Product Development & Production Engineer who can take electronic products from concept and prototype development through testing, PCB assembly, troubleshooting, manufacturing preparation and final product validation.
Key Responsibilities
1. Product Testing and Troubleshooting
- Test residential electrical and electronic products, including voltage stabilizers, automatic phase changers, Home UPS systems, water-level controllers and related products.
- Support testing of commercial and industrial electronic products, controllers and monitoring systems.
- Identify hardware errors, functional failures, incorrect readings, communication problems and component-level issues.
- Troubleshoot faults, determine possible root causes and support corrective actions.
- Retest products after modifications and verify that identified issues are resolved.
- Maintain test records, issue lists and product validation reports.
2. PCB Inspection, Soldering and Rework
- Inspect PCBs for soldering defects, short circuits, open connections and incorrect component placement.
- Perform through-hole and SMD soldering, component replacement and PCB rework as required.
- Check continuity, supply voltages, signal levels and component connections.
- Support engineers in identifying PCB design, assembly and hardware-related problems.
- Verify PCB operation after repairs or component changes.
3. Hardware Testing and Technical Support
- Test electronic circuits, sensors, relays, displays, power supplies and communication interfaces.
- Use multimeters, oscilloscopes, bench power supplies and other testing instruments.
- Support testing of ESP32, STM32 and Arduino-based products.
- Verify RS485, Modbus RTU/TCP, LoRa, Wi-Fi and other interfaces where applicable.
- Support firmware flashing, configuration and functional verification using firmware provided by the development team.
- Record test observations and coordinate unresolved issues with the responsible engineer.
4. BOM and Material Coordination
- Prepare, verify and maintain the Bill of Materials (BOM) for prototypes and product revisions.
- Check component part numbers, values, quantities, specifications and approved alternatives.
- Identify required components and coordinate material collection and availability with the procurement team.
- Verify received components against the BOM and report shortages, mismatches or damaged materials.
- Maintain component lists, material issue records and prototype testing documentation.
5. Product Design and Engineering Support
- Assist the engineering team in reviewing schematics, PCB layouts, wiring diagrams and product designs.
- Check whether the assembled prototype matches the approved design and BOM.
- Provide practical feedback based on testing results and observed failures.
- Support engineers in implementing and verifying design corrections.
- Maintain revision-wise test results and document changes made during product validation.
6. Product Validation and Production Readiness
- Follow the product development team's testing plan and complete assigned validation activities step by step.
- Verify product functionality, protection features, calibration and performance against approved specifications.
- Support repeatability testing, burn-in testing and other reliability checks where required.
- Track open issues and confirm that corrective actions have been completed.
- Prepare final test reports and communicate product readiness or unresolved issues to the engineering team.
- Support the handover of validated products to the production team.
Required Skills
- Diploma or BE/B.Tech in Electronics, ECE, EEE, Instrumentation or a related field.
- Practical experience in electronics testing, troubleshooting and PCB soldering.
- Ability to read circuit diagrams, component datasheets and BOMs.
- Knowledge of electronic components, sensors, power supplies and basic circuit operation.
- Experience using a multimeter, oscilloscope and bench power supply.
- Good fault-finding, documentation and problem-solving skills.
- Willingness to perform hands-on technical work and coordinate closely with the product development team.
Preferred Skills
- Exposure to ESP32, STM32 or Arduino-based electronic products.
- Basic understanding of embedded firmware testing and debugging.
- Knowledge of RS485, Modbus, LoRa, Wi-Fi or industrial electronics.
- Experience with PCB inspection, soldering, rework and prototype testing.
- Knowledge of BOM preparation, component verification and material coordination.
- Familiarity with product calibration, quality checks and production testing.
What We Expect
- A practical, detail-oriented team member who can identify problems rather than simply report failures.
- Ability to follow testing procedures, investigate faults and verify solutions.
- Good coordination with engineers and other team members.
- Responsibility for completing assigned testing activities and maintaining accurate records.
- Commitment to quality, reliability and continuous product improvement.
Only candidates with a genuine interest in practical product development and troubleshooting are encouraged to apply.
Pay: ₹13,000.00 - ₹47,000.00 per month
