JOB DESCRIPTION – EMT TECHNICIAN

Job Title: Emergency Medical Technician (EMT)
Location: Perumbavoor
Department: Emergency Medicine / Emergency Services
Qualification: B.Sc Accident and Medical Care Technology.
Experience: Freshers / Experienced candidates

Educational Qualification

• Bachelor's degree in Emergency Medical Technology, Emergency and Trauma Care Technology, or another relevant recognized healthcare qualification.
• Relevant emergency care training or certification is an added advantage.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide immediate emergency medical care and first aid to patients.
• Assess patients and monitor vital signs.
• Perform CPR and basic life support within the scope of training and authorization.
• Assist in managing trauma, cardiac emergencies, and other medical emergencies.
• Support doctors and nurses in emergency procedures and patient stabilization.
• Ensure safe patient transfer and ambulance transportation, where applicable.
• Maintain emergency equipment, medical supplies, and patient records.
• Follow hospital protocols, infection control measures, and patient safety standards.
• Work in rotational shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays.

Required Skills

• Knowledge of emergency medical procedures and patient assessment.
• Ability to work under pressure.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.
• Compassionate approach to patient care.
• Ability to handle emergency equipment and assist with patient transfers.

Preferred Experience

• Experience in a hospital emergency department, trauma centre, or ambulance service is an advantage.
• Fresh graduates with the required qualification may apply.or

Pay: ₹300,000.00 - ₹500,000.00 per year
