Job Summary

We are seeking a qualified and experienced Environmental Engineer to support environmental management activities for infrastructure and highway projects. The candidate will be responsible for ensuring compliance with environmental regulations, implementing mitigation measures, and monitoring environmental performance in accordance with applicable standards and guidelines.

Educational Qualification

• Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering, Environmental Engineering, or other relevant qualification from a recognized institute/university.

Experience Required

• Minimum 6 years of relevant professional experience in environmental engineering and management.
• Out of the total experience, at least 2 years of experience in highway projects is mandatory.

Key Responsibilities

• Implement and monitor environmental management plans for highway and infrastructure projects.
• Ensure compliance with environmental regulations, statutory requirements, and project-specific environmental commitments.
• Coordinate environmental monitoring activities related to air, water, noise, waste management, and ecological protection.
• Supervise implementation of environmental mitigation measures at project sites.
• Prepare and maintain environmental reports, records, and compliance documentation.
• Liaise with regulatory authorities, consultants, contractors, and project teams on environmental matters.
• Conduct environmental inspections, audits, and site assessments.
• Provide guidance and training to site personnel on environmental best practices and compliance requirements.
• Support sustainability and environmental protection initiatives throughout the project lifecycle.

Required Skills & Competencies

• Good knowledge of MOEF guidelines and requirements related to environmental mitigation measures.
• Understanding of environmental laws, regulations, and standards applicable to highway/infrastructure projects.
• Strong analytical, reporting, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to coordinate effectively with multidisciplinary teams and stakeholders.
• Good communication and documentation skills.
• Proficiency in relevant computer applications and reporting tools.

Pay: ₹35,000.00 - ₹40,000.00 per month
