About Mohra

Mohra is not a clothing brand.

We are building a brand that tells stories through clothing. Every piece we create is meant to be a canvas for Indian art, folklore, mythology, craftsmanship, and culture. We don't want people to buy our clothes because they're trendy we want them to wear stories, conversations, and pieces of art. We want our consumer to be the that stands out in a crowd.

Our goal is to build collections that feel timeless and meaningful, where design comes before trends.

Who We're Looking For

We're looking for a Fashion Designer who believes in creating something bigger than another clothing label.

This is an opportunity for someone excited about building a brand from the ground up alongside us. While this first collection is a freelance engagement, we're looking for someone who could grow into a long-term creative partner and potentially become our full time designer.

What You'll Do

- Design the first Mohra collection from concept to final artwork.

- Develop silhouettes, graphics, prints, and design details that align with our vision.

- Research Indian history, folklore, mythology, and traditional art forms for inspiration.

- Collaborate closely with the Us to shape the creative direction of the brand.

- Prepare designs suitable for production.

We're Looking For Someone Who

- Has strong fashion design skills and a unique creative voice.

- Can translate stories and ideas into wearable designs.

- Appreciates Indian art, culture, history, and craftsmanship.

- Is excited by building something from scratch.

- Communicates well and enjoys collaborating.

- Is passionate about creating meaningful work rather than simply following trends.

Compensation

We're an early-stage startup and currently cannot offer an upfront salary.

Instead, we're offering:

- Equity in the brand (for the right long-term partner)

- Royalties on designs/collections

- The opportunity to help build Mohra from day one and shape its creative identity
