Full job description

We are looking for a proactive and detail-oriented Fashion Merchandiser to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing the complete merchandising cycle—from order coordination and vendor communication to production follow-up and timely delivery. The candidate should have a strong understanding of garment manufacturing, fabric sourcing, and fashion trends.

Key Responsibilities

  • Coordinate with buyers, vendors, and production teams to ensure smooth order execution.
  • Monitor the complete order lifecycle from sampling to final shipment.
  • Follow up with suppliers for fabrics, trims, and accessories.
  • Prepare and maintain purchase orders, production reports, and merchandising documentation.
  • Track production timelines and ensure on-time deliveries.
  • Analyze market trends and customer preferences to support product development.
  • Work closely with the design, sourcing, quality, and production departments.
  • Monitor inventory and coordinate replenishment when required.
  • Ensure products meet quality standards and customer specifications.
  • Resolve production or delivery issues by coordinating with relevant teams.
  • Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly merchandising reports.
  • Maintain strong relationships with buyers and suppliers.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Fashion Merchandising, Fashion Design, Fashion Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • 1–3 years of experience in apparel or garment merchandising.
  • Strong knowledge of garment production processes.
  • Good understanding of fabrics, trims, and apparel manufacturing.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and MS Office.
  • Excellent communication, coordination, and negotiation skills.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple orders simultaneously.

Preferred Skills

  • Experience with export houses or apparel manufacturing companies.
  • Knowledge of merchandising software or ERP systems.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Ability to work under tight deadlines.

Pay: ₹75,000.00 - ₹100,000.00 per month
