Job Title: SQL Data Engineer / BI Consultant (6-Week Contract)About Us

Position Overview

We are seeking a high-caliber SQL Data Engineer / BI Consultant for an immediate, 6-week contract to support a major deployment for a US-based client.

This is an intensive, hands-on role requiring top-tier technical execution and "consultant-grade" communication. You will be responsible for building, optimizing, and delivering critical reporting structures directly impacting client operations.

• Location: Remote (Based in India)
• Work Timings: Standard IST business hours (8 hours/day)
• Duration: 6 Weeks (Full-time commitment required)
• Engagement Type: Contract / Freelance

Key Responsibilities

• Database Development: Write, optimize, and debug complex SQL queries, stored procedures, views, and indexing to ensure peak reporting performance.
• Report Authoring: Design, develop, and maintain pixel-perfect SSRS reports and Power BI Paginated reports based on strict enterprise specifications.
• Client Collaboration: Own technical discussions, lead project update meetings, and manage delivery expectations directly with our US-based client stakeholders.
• Data Validation: Ensure rigorous data integrity between source systems and final reporting outputs.

Required Technical Skills & Qualifications

• Expert SQL Skills: Deep hands-on experience with MS SQL Server, query optimization, and relational database design.
• SSRS Expertise: Proven track record of building and deploying production-grade SQL Server Reporting Services (SSRS) reports.
• Power BI Paginated Reports: Specialized knowledge in creating, publishing, and managing paginated (.rdl) reports in the Power BI Service.
• D365 F&O (Strong Plus): Direct experience or familiarity with the Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations data schema and data entities is highly advantageous.

Communication & Professional Skills

• Consultant-Grade English: Exceptional written and verbal communication skills are mandatory. You must be able to articulate technical concepts clearly to non-technical business leaders.
• Client Management: Highly confident in leading client-facing meetings, setting realistic timelines, and proactively managing expectations.
• Autonomy: Ability to jump into an ongoing project, understand requirements quickly, and deliver high-quality work with minimal supervision.

Project Logistics & Availability

• Must be available to start immediately.
• Dedicated commitment of 8 hours per day for the next 6 weeks.
• Reliable high-speed internet connection and a secure, professional remote working environment.

Pay: ₹1,400.00 per hour
