Payfin is a growing fintech startup enabling businesses to manage collections, payouts, and financial operations with speed and security. As we scale, we are strengthening our finance function and seeking an Fiannce & Accounts Exe. to ensure financial accuracy, control, and compliance.

You as an Finance & Acc Executive will support the finance team in maintaining accurate financial records, assisting in reconciliations, processing vendor and merchant payments, and ensuring compliance with internal financial controls. This role is ideal for graduates looking to start their career in fintech finance operations, payment settlements, reconciliation, and accounting processes.

Key Responsibilities

Accounting & Bookkeeping

• Record and maintain financial transactions in accounting software.
• Maintain general ledger entries, journal entries, and supporting documentation
• Support month-end closing activities and financial reporting preparation

Reconciliation & Financial Operations

• Assist in bank, merchant, and vendor reconciliation
• Support payment settlements, payout processing, and transaction matching
• Work with product/operations teams for settlement and payout clarifications
• Support UPI and payout transaction data validation (based on internal systems)

Compliance & Documentation

• Maintain proper financial records for audits and internal reviews
• Assist in GST, TDS, and statutory filing documentation
• Ensure invoices, receipts, and financial proofs are organized and maintained
• Support finance team in responding to bank/TSP due diligence data requests

Vendor & Merchant Payment Support

• Process vendor invoices and track payables
• Assist in preparing payment schedules for vendors and merchants
• Validate merchant payout amounts before finance approval

Skills & Competencies

• Strong understanding of accounting fundamentals
• Good knowledge of Excel
• Attention to detail and accuracy in financial data
• Ability to work with large transaction datasets
• Strong communication and coordination skills

Educational Qualifications

• Master’s/Bachelor’s degree in Commerce, Finance, Accounting, Business, or related field
• Additional certifications are a (Tally ERP, Excel for Finance, NISM, basic GST/TDS courses, etc.)
