Job Overview
We are seeking a Financial Planning Analyst to contribute to forecast analysis, identify business trends, and evaluate financial status for successful budgeting.
Responsibilities
- Identify financial status by comparing and analyzing actual results with plans and forecasts, monitoring variances, and identifying trends
- Provide basic forecast analysis to help business stay in budget
- Collaborate with team members and business partners
- Reconcile transactions by comparing and correcting data facilities overall security posture
- Maintain database by entering, verifying, and backing up data
- Protect operations by keeping financial information confidential
- Contribute to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed
Skills
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics or related field of study
- Minimum 3+ years of experience in financial analyst role or similar
- Highly motivated and able to work independently as well as in a team environment
- Outstanding customer service, communication, and presentation skills
- Excellent planning and organizational skills
- Demonstrated courage with difficult issues despite personal risk or discomfort
- Analytic and critical thinking skills that drive results
- Knowledge of processes and procedures development
- Clear and succinct writing skills in technical and non-technical formats
- Excellent computer skills and comprehension of MS Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
- Strong knowledge of Excel, Problem Solving, Financial Planning and Analysis is a plus
- Experience with Hyperion and workday Adaptive Planning a plus
- Knowledge of NPV, IRR, ROI and other financial metrics to evaluate and support investment decisions a plus
Compensation
Estimated Pay Range: Exact compensation and offers of employment are dependent on circumstances of each case and will be determined based on job-related knowledge, skills, experience, licenses or certifications, and location.
