Job Overview

We are seeking a Financial Planning Analyst to contribute to forecast analysis, identify business trends, and evaluate financial status for successful budgeting.

Responsibilities

  • Identify financial status by comparing and analyzing actual results with plans and forecasts, monitoring variances, and identifying trends
  • Provide basic forecast analysis to help business stay in budget
  • Collaborate with team members and business partners
  • Reconcile transactions by comparing and correcting data facilities overall security posture
  • Maintain database by entering, verifying, and backing up data
  • Protect operations by keeping financial information confidential
  • Contribute to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed

Skills

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics or related field of study
  • Minimum 3+ years of experience in financial analyst role or similar
  • Highly motivated and able to work independently as well as in a team environment
  • Outstanding customer service, communication, and presentation skills
  • Excellent planning and organizational skills
  • Demonstrated courage with difficult issues despite personal risk or discomfort
  • Analytic and critical thinking skills that drive results
  • Knowledge of processes and procedures development
  • Clear and succinct writing skills in technical and non-technical formats
  • Excellent computer skills and comprehension of MS Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
  • Strong knowledge of Excel, Problem Solving, Financial Planning and Analysis is a plus
  • Experience with Hyperion and workday Adaptive Planning a plus
  • Knowledge of NPV, IRR, ROI and other financial metrics to evaluate and support investment decisions a plus

Compensation

Estimated Pay Range: Exact compensation and offers of employment are dependent on circumstances of each case and will be determined based on job-related knowledge, skills, experience, licenses or certifications, and location.
