Hospital Floor Manager Job Description

We are looking for an organized floor manager to supervise all floor activity, including assisting customers and monitoring staff. The Floor Manager is responsible for ensuring that all floor requirements are met. To be successful as a floor manager, you should have excellent interpersonal skills and be highly organized. You must be able to delegate duties to staff members while making sure that the staff is trained for their assigned roles.

Floor Manager Responsibilities:

• Effective patient coordination and counseling are essential for positive healthcare experiences. By ensuring smooth transitions and clear communication, empower patients to actively participate in their care. To provide guidance and support, addressing concerns and promoting informed decision-making. Our goal is to foster a strong patient-provider relationship built on trust and understanding. Ultimately, we strive to enhance patient satisfaction and optimize health outcomes through coordinated and compassionate care.
• Ensures Availability of Doctor and Resolves Issues related to Operatory Management.
• Ensures prompt Response to nursing calls. Monitors Staff behavior and attitude
• Ensures that new admissions received in the system.
• Ensures that discharges are completed on time in the system.
• Ensures Patient care by Addresses patient problemswith any queries or requests.Provides information in case of any queries, checking completeness of Medical Record File.
• Supervises the duties of dental assistant on the respective operatory. Coordinating Operatory unit performance.
• Feedback HOD on compliance to quality standards, Medical Record audit and significant incidences.
• Manage the day to day Patient Care Services, Personally handle queries to ensure accurate courteous communication, providing all required information
• Provide an effective communication link between patient and medical staff, Maintains quality service by establishing and enforcing organization standards.
• Ensure service is proactive responsive whether in person, on the telephone or via mail.

Floor Manager Requirements:

• Degree in Healthcare Administration, Business Administration or relevant field, proven work experience as a Hospital Administration Manager, Medical Office Manager or similar role.
• Knowledge of medical terminology and hospital industry will be added advantage.
• Hands on experience with database systems and MS Excel
• Solid understanding of healthcare procedures and regulations
• Basic accounting skills Familiarity with medical transcription will be added advantage.
• Excellent organizational and time management skills
• Highly organized and Ability to supervise and train team members
• Problem solving attitude

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹50,000.00 - ₹60,000.00 per month
