Food Inspector jobs

Key Responsibilities :

• Lead and maintain the Food Safety Management System across the plant.
• Lead HACCP studies, hazard assessments and review of CCPs / OPRPs.
• Ensure effective implementation of GMP, hygiene, sanitation, allergen management, pest control, environmental monitoring and other food safety programmes.
• Conduct regular plant inspections and internal food safety audits.
• Coordinate customer, regulatory and food safety certification audits and ensure timely closure of observations and CAPAs.
• Maintain food safety SOPs, records, traceability and recall systems.
• Investigate food safety deviations and complaints and drive root-cause corrective actions.
• Train employees and shop-floor teams on food safety, GMP and hygiene requirements.
• Work closely with Production, Quality, Maintenance, Stores and other functions to strengthen food safety practices.
• Support Dairy Craft's food safety certifications and ensure continuous audit readiness.
• Report key food safety risks, audit findings and improvement actions to management.

Candidate Profile

• B.Tech / M.Tech in Food Technology, Dairy Technology, Food Science, Microbiology or related field.
• 4-8 years of experience in food manufacturing, preferably dairy or other perishable food products.
• Strong working knowledge of HACCP, GMP, PRPs, hygiene and food safety systems.
• Experience with recognised food safety management systems and certification audits.
• Good understanding of FSSAI and applicable regulatory requirements.
• Internal Auditor training / certification would be an advantage.
• Strong problem-solving, documentation and root-cause analysis skills.
• Hands-on approach with the ability to drive food safety discipline on the shop floor.

Pay: ₹40,000.00 - ₹60,000.00 per month
