Job Opening: Merchandiser – Footwear Industry

We are looking for an experienced Merchandiser to join our team.

Qualification

• Graduate in any discipline.
• Diploma/Degree in Footwear Technology will be preferred.

Experience

• Minimum 3 – 5 years of experience in the footwear manufacturing industry, with strong exposure to merchandising, material sourcing, and supplier coordination.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage sourcing and procurement of materials required for footwear manufacturing.
• Coordinate with suppliers to ensure timely availability of materials at the factory.
• Collaborate with the Production, Planning, and Quality teams to ensure uninterrupted material flow.
• Monitor inventory levels to prevent production delays due to material shortages.
• Resolve supplier-related issues, including delivery delays, shortages, quality concerns, and logistics challenges.
• Ensure all materials comply with approved quality standards and technical specifications.
• Track material status and proactively coordinate with internal teams to achieve production deadlines.

Required Skills

• Strong knowledge of footwear materials, components, and manufacturing processes.
• Excellent planning and communication skills.
• Good analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Good Knowledge about footwear as a product, including shoe construction, manufacturing processes, materials, components, and production techniques.
• Ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Pay: ₹276,000.00 - ₹500,000.00 per year
