We are looking for talented freelance photographers to capture impactful visuals of social, family, cultural, and political events from their respective cities and states.

Key Responsibilities

• Cover social, family, cultural, and political events across your city and state.
• Capture high-quality photographs and videos for editorial and digital platforms.
• Ensure clear, well-composed visuals in both daylight and low-light conditions.
• Meet people on the ground and document events accurately and professionally.
• Edit and organize images/videos as required.
• Submit photographs and videos promptly to the editorial team within specified timelines.

Eligibility Criteria

Experience

• Prior experience with a news media organization is preferred.
• Candidates currently working with print, digital, or electronic media are encouraged to apply.
• Applicants with an active and credible social media presence showcasing photography or visual storytelling may also be considered.

Skills Required

• Strong photography and videography skills.
• Ability to capture high-quality still photographs and videos in both bright and low-light conditions.
• Knowledge of image composition, framing, lighting, and visual storytelling.
• Basic photo and video editing skills will be an added advantage.
• Ability to transfer and share media files quickly using email or other digital platforms.
• Good communication and coordination skills.

Preferred Age

• Preferably below 40 years.
• Exceptional candidates above 40 years are also welcome to apply.

Essential Requirements

• Own two-wheeler for local travel and event coverage.
• Professional camera or smartphone with a high-quality camera.
• Laptop or desktop computer with internet access.
• Willingness to travel within the assigned city/state for reporting assignments.
