Position Overview

We are seeking a passionate and self-motivated Software Developer Intern to join our team and contribute

to the development of the RIKA platform.

The selected candidate will work directly with the Founder and play a key role in building the Minimum

Viable Product (MVP), including the mobile application, emergency alert system, and command center

dashboard.

This role offers an opportunity to gain hands-on experience in startup product development and work on a

technology solution with meaningful social impact.

Key Responsibilities

Mobile Application Development

• Develop and maintain the RIKA mobile application using Flutter.
• Build user onboarding and authentication workflows.
• Implement user profile management features.
• Develop emergency contact management modules.
• Create SOS activation and incident creation workflows.

Backend Integration Integrate Firebase Authentication.

• Work with Firebase Firestore Database.
• Implement push notifications using Firebase Cloud Messaging (FCM).
• Develop APIs and backend integrations as required.

Location & Emergency Features

• Integrate Google Maps APIs.
• Implement live location sharing functionality.
• Develop incident tracking and status update mechanisms.
• Ensure smooth communication between the app and backend services.

Dashboard Development

• Assist in building the RIKA Command Center Dashboard.
• Develop incident monitoring and management features.
• Create interfaces for viewing active alerts and incident details.

Testing & Deployment

• Conduct testing and debugging activities.
• Participate in performance optimization.
• Assist in preparing the application for pilot launch and deployment.
