Fresher Medical Transcriptionist jobs

We are looking for a detail-oriented and skilled Medical Transcriptionist to convert physicians' dictated recordings into accurate and well-formatted medical reports and documents. The candidate should have a good understanding of medical terminology, excellent listening skills, and strong typing and proofreading abilities.

• Transcribe medical reports, clinical notes, discharge summaries, operative notes, and other healthcare-related documents.
• Listen to recorded dictations from doctors and accurately convert them into written medical records.
• Ensure accuracy in medical terminology, spelling, grammar, and formatting.
• Review and proofread transcribed documents to identify and correct errors.
• Maintain confidentiality and security of patient medical information.
• Complete transcription assignments within the stipulated timelines.
• Coordinate with doctors and other healthcare professionals to clarify unclear dictations.
• Maintain proper documentation and follow hospital policies and procedures.

Educational Qualification

Graduate in any discipline.

Certification or Diploma in Medical Transcription will be an added advantage.

Experience

Minimum 1–2 years of experience in Medical Transcription.

Experience in a hospital or healthcare setting will be preferred.

Skills Required

Good knowledge of medical terminology and healthcare documentation.

Excellent English language, grammar, and proofreading skills.

Good listening comprehension and typing speed.

Proficiency in MS Office and medical transcription software.

Strong attention to detail and accuracy.

Ability to maintain confidentiality of patient information.

Good time management and organizational skills.
