Key Responsibilities

• Assist in sourcing freight and identifying available carriers through company systems and load boards
• Support communication between shippers and carriers to coordinate pickups and deliveries
• Help negotiate freight rates under supervision to ensure profitable and competitive pricing
• Track shipments and provide status updates to customers and internal teams
• Maintain accurate records of loads, carrier details, and shipment documentation
• Learn and follow company processes, compliance requirements, and industry regulations
• Resolve basic shipment issues and escalate complex problems to senior team members
• Build and maintain professional relationships with carriers and customers
• Gain knowledge of market trends and logistics operations

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required
• Basic computer skills (MS Excel, email, and internet usage)
