About the Role
We are looking for a motivated WordPress Web Developer to join our team. The ideal candidate has practical experience building and customizing WordPress websites, or has completed a recognized WordPress development training program and is eager to apply their skills in a professional environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop, customize, and maintain WordPress websites and themes
  • Install, configure, and manage WordPress plugins
  • Convert PSD/Figma/XD designs into responsive WordPress websites
  • Customize and build themes using HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and PHP
  • Work with page builders like Elementor, WPBakery, Divi, or Gutenberg
  • Optimize websites for speed, SEO, and cross-browser compatibility
  • Troubleshoot and fix bugs, plugin conflicts, and website errors
  • Manage website hosting, domains, and basic server configurations
  • Perform regular website updates, backups, and security checks
  • Collaborate with designers and content teams to deliver client requirements
  • Basic knowledge of WooCommerce for e-commerce projects (preferred)

Required Skills

  • Solid understanding of WordPress core, themes, and plugin architecture
  • Proficiency in HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, and PHP
  • Familiarity with MySQL databases
  • Experience with popular page builders (Elementor/Divi/WPBakery)
  • Basic understanding of responsive and mobile-first design
  • Knowledge of version control (Git) is a plus
  • Understanding of on-page SEO basics
  • Good problem-solving and debugging skills

Eligibility

  • Minimum 6 months of professional WordPress development experience
  • OR
  • Completed a WordPress Development course/certification from a recognized/reputed instituteSoft Skills

Educational Qualification

  • Any Graduate / Diploma in Computer Science, IT, or related field (preferred but not mandatory if course certification is provided)
