JOB DESCRIPTION SAFETY SUPERVISOR

Job Summary:

The Safety Supervisor is responsible for developing, implementing, and overseeing the

organization & safety programs to ensure a safe and healthy working environment.

Key Responsibilities:

 Develop and implement comprehensive safety programs and policies in accordance

with regulatory requirements.

 Update and maintain safety manuals and documentation.

 Conduct regular risk assessments and hazard analyses.

 Develop and implement risk mitigation strategies and corrective actions.

 Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal health and safety regulations,

including OSHA standards.

 Stay updated on new and changing regulations and communicates these changes to

management and staff.

 Develop and deliver safety training programs for employees and contractors.

 Conduct orientation sessions for new hires and ongoing training for existing staff.

 Lead investigations of accidents, incidents, and near-misses.

 Prepare detailed reports of findings and recommendations for preventing future

occurrences.

 Develop and maintain emergency response plans and procedures.

 Conduct regular drills and training sessions to ensure preparedness.

 Perform regular safety audits and inspections of facilities, equipment, and processes.

 Identify potential hazards and ensure corrective actions are implemented.

 Maintain accurate records of safety incidents, training, and inspections.

 Work closely with management, employees, and external agencies to promote a

culture of safety.

 Communicate safety policies and procedures effectively to all levels of the

organization.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹20,000.00 per month
