About the Role

We are looking for a skilled Unity Developer to build engaging 2D and 3D games and interactive applications for exhibitions, events, interactive displays, and immersive experiences. You will work closely with designers, artists, and hardware teams to develop gameplay systems, implement interactive features, integrate hardware devices, optimize performance, and contribute to the overall application architecture. This role requires a strong understanding of Unity development, interactive hardware integration, cross-platform development, and production-ready workflows.

Responsibilities

- Develop and maintain interactive applications and gameplay systems using Unity and C#

- Design and implement interactive experiences, game mechanics, and features

- Build UI, player controls, AI, physics-based interactions, and interactive installations

- Integrate and communicate with interactive hardware, sensors, controllers, displays, and other external devices

- Debug, profile, and optimize applications for performance and stability

- Build and deploy applications for Windows, Android, iOS, WebGL, and other supported platforms

- Integrate animations, assets, third-party SDKs, hardware interfaces, and platform-specific features

- Collaborate with designers, artists, and hardware teams to deliver high-quality interactive experiences

- Write clean, scalable, and maintainable code

Required Skills

- 2–5 years of professional Unity development experience

- Strong proficiency in C# and Unity Engine

- Strong understanding of vector mathematics, linear algebra, and coordinate systems for core gameplay and interactive development

- Experience developing gameplay systems, AI, physics, UI, and interactive applications

- Experience integrating interactive hardware, sensors, controllers, input devices, or external systems with Unity

- Good knowledge of Scriptable Objects, Prefabs, Scene Management, Unity Animation, and Addressables

- Experience building, debugging, and deploying Unity applications for Windows, Android, iOS, WebGL, and other supported platforms

- Experience profiling and optimizing performance across multiple platforms

- Familiarity with Git version control

Preferred Skills

- Experience developing interactive installations for exhibitions, events, museums, trade shows, or experiential environments

- Experience working with interactive displays, touchscreens, motion sensors, cameras, RFID/NFC, Arduino, Raspberry Pi, PLCs, or similar hardware

- Experience communicating with hardware using serial communication, TCP/IP, UDP, Bluetooth, OSC, REST APIs, or other communication protocols

- Knowledge of mobile optimization and asset management

- Experience integrating third-party SDKs and external hardware APIs

- Experience developing or integrating native Android (Java/Kotlin) and iOS (Objective-C/Swift) plugins for Unity

- Experience troubleshooting and resolving crashes, memory issues, connectivity problems, and performance bottlenecks

- Exposure to multiplayer, AR/VR, Shader Graph, or URP/HDRP is a plus

Pay: ₹30,000.00 - ₹60,000.00 per month
