JOB DESCRIPTION: SECURITY OPERATION MANAGER
1. Operations Management

  • Manage daily operations of security guards, housekeeping staff, supervisors, and other facility personnel.
  • Ensure deployment of manpower as per client requirements and contractual obligations.
  • Monitor attendance, shift scheduling, relievers, and workforce productivity.
  • Conduct regular site inspections and operational audits.
  • Ensure uninterrupted service delivery at all client locations.

2. Client Relationship Management

  • Act as the primary point of contact for clients.
  • Conduct regular client meetings and resolve operational issues promptly.
  • Maintain high levels of customer satisfaction.
  • Ensure timely submission of reports, invoices, and compliance documents to clients.

3. Manpower Management

  • Coordinate recruitment and deployment of security and facility staff.
  • Conduct induction and on-the-job training.
  • Monitor employee discipline, grooming, and performance.
  • Handle grievances, absenteeism, attrition, and employee engagement.

4. Compliance & Documentation

  • Ensure compliance with all applicable labour laws and statutory regulations.
  • Monitor compliance related to:

o EPF
o ESI
o Minimum Wages
o Bonus
o Gratuity
o Contract Labour (Regulation & Abolition) Act
o Shops & Establishment Act
o Private Security Agencies (Regulation) Act (PSARA), where applicable

  • Maintain all statutory registers and site documentation.
  • Coordinate labour inspections and client audits.

5. Security Operations

  • Ensure security personnel perform duties as per SOPs.
  • Conduct surprise inspections and security audits.
  • Investigate incidents and submit detailed reports.
  • Ensure proper maintenance of occurrence books, visitor records, gate passes, and incident registers.
  • Monitor emergency preparedness and safety procedures.

6. Facility Management

  • Supervise housekeeping, pantry, horticulture, waste management, and other soft services.
  • Ensure quality standards are maintained.
  • Monitor consumption of cleaning materials and equipment.
  • Coordinate preventive maintenance with technical teams when required.

7. Financial & Cost Control

  • Monitor operational expenses.
  • Control overtime and manpower costs.
  • Ensure timely submission of attendance sheets for payroll.
  • Support billing and invoice preparation.
  • Monitor profitability of assigned sites.

8. Reporting
Prepare and submit:

  • Daily Operational Reports
  • Weekly Reports
  • Monthly Performance Reports
  • Incident Reports
  • Client Visit Reports
  • Compliance Reports
  • Manpower Status Reports

9. Business Development Support

  • Support mobilization of new projects.
  • Participate in site surveys and transition planning.
  • Identify opportunities for additional services with existing clients.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree in any discipline (MBA in Operations is preferred).
  • Diploma/Certification in Security Management or Facility Management is an added advantage.

Experience

  • 5–10 years of experience in Facility Management and Security Services.
  • Experience in handling multiple client locations.
  • Knowledge of labour laws and statutory compliance.
  • Experience in manpower management and client handling.
