Full job description

Job Title: Exploration Geologist

Company: APC Drilling and Construction Private Limited, Namakkal, Tamilnadu.

No.of posts: 1 ( Pay Rs.30,000 - 35,000 Per month Negotiable for competant candidate)

Place of Posting: Namakkal (HQ), Tamilnadu maybe deputed to various project sites located in various states of India for short periods, as required by the controlling authority.

Qualifications: M.sc / M Tech in Geology/ Applied Geology/ Earth Sciences/ Mineral Exploration or Equivalent.

Experience: 1 to 3 years after post graduation (desirable). Competent freshers may also apply.

Essential Requirements:

1) Knowledge of

a) Stages of Mineral Exploration (G4 TO G1)

b) Various field activities involved in mineral exploration

c) Mineral Exploration proposals

d) Preparation of geological plans / maps / sections.

e) Estimation of mineral resources / reserves.

f) Geological report preparation.

g) Geological / Ore body modelling.

Knowledge of NMEDT and its functions. MMDR Act and MEMC Rules.

Software skills: MS Office, Arc GIS, Q GIS & AUTOCAD. Knowledge of Geovia SURPAC, MINEX etc. used for preparation of Geological Report / Modelling.

Language: English and Hindi (Reading / Writing / Speaking)

Job Type: Probation period one year. Regularization based on performance as full time employee.
