Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
5 years of experience in product management or related technical role.
2 years of experience taking technical products from conception to launch (e.g., ideation to execution, end-to-end, 0 to 1, etc).

Preferred qualifications:

Master's degree in a technology or business related field.
Experience translating technical specifications (e.g., cloud APIs, mobile platforms, IoT connectivity standards) into simple, intuitive user experiences.
Experience in the smart home, IoT, mobile apps, or consumer technology industry.
Experience working collaboratively with cross-functional teams (Engineering, UX, Program Managers) in a matrixed organization.
Excellent problem-solving skills with experience conducting A/B testing, setting up telemetry, and leveraging data to drive product decisions.

Responsibilities

Contribute to the product outlook and define the road map for a key feature set or component area within Google Home. Translate high-level strategic inputs into concrete, detailed product requirement documents (PRDs).
Lead the end-to-end product lifecycle for specific features and initiatives that integrate smoothly across the wider Google Home ecosystem.
Partner closely with Engineering, UX Design, and other stakeholders to align resources and execute on priorities. Drive team alignment and help unblock development challenges.
Define, track, and monitor success metrics (KPIs) for your product area. Synthesize quantitative analysis and qualitative user feedback to inform key trade-offs and drive feature iterations.
Advocate execution speed and product quality. Optimize existing workflows, participate in triaging issues, and ensure that launches meet Google's high bar for user trust and reliability.
