Full job description
Role Overview
We are looking for a proactive Government Liaison Officer who can build and maintain strong relationships with government officials, coordinate with various departments, facilitate approvals, and support project execution across India.
The ideal candidate understands government processes, communicates professionally, and can represent Zipr during meetings, presentations, and official discussions.
Key Responsibilities
- Build long-term relationships with Government Departments.
- Coordinate with senior government officials regarding ongoing and upcoming projects.
- Follow up on approvals, documentation, permissions, and project milestones.
- Assist in preparing proposals, presentations, concept notes, and official correspondence.
- Coordinate tender-related communication and pre-bid meetings.
- Represent Zipr during government meetings, exhibitions, workshops, and conferences.
- Track government policies, tourism initiatives, digital governance programs, and upcoming opportunities.
- Coordinate internally with technical, operations, legal, and management teams to ensure timely project execution.
- Maintain records of meetings, MOMs, official communications, and follow-ups.
- Support client relationship management after project deployment.
Required Skills
- Excellent communication skills in English and Hindi.
- Professional drafting and email writing.
- Strong interpersonal and relationship-building skills.
- Understanding of Indian Government administrative processes.
- Good presentation and negotiation abilities.
- Strong documentation and organizational skills.
- Ability to travel frequently across India.
- Comfortable interacting with senior government officials.
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in any domain.
- 2–6 years of experience in Government Liaison, Public Relations, Business Development, Government Sales, or Administrative Coordination.
- Experience working with Government Departments, PSUs, or Government projects is highly preferred.
