Senior Graphic Designer
Zlan Creations Pvt. Ltd. · Kochi · Full-Time · On-site

About Zlan
Zlan Creations is a 360° advertising and creative strategy firm working with some of the most prominent brands across industries. Our design work is our reputation. We're known for packaging that sets category benchmarks, outdoor campaigns that stop traffic, and social creative that brands come back for.

We're building a new design team alongside our existing one, and we're looking for designers who can raise the bar we've already set.

The Role
This isn't an execution seat. You'll take a brief from idea to finished work, shape the visual direction of campaigns, and own the quality of what leaves the studio. Expect to work across packaging, outdoor, print, and digital, often on the same brand at the same time.

What You'll Do

  • Lead concepts and design from first sketch to final artwork across packaging, OOH, print, and social
  • Build and evolve brand identity systems that hold up across every touchpoint
  • Partner with strategy and copy teams to turn insights into visual ideas
  • Present and defend your work in client and internal reviews
  • Set the craft standard for typography, layout, and finishing, and help junior designers get there
  • Use Generative AI tools where they genuinely sharpen the idea or speed up the work
  • Deliver work you're proud of, on time, under real agency deadlines

What We're Looking For

  • 4+ years in a creative or advertising agency
  • A portfolio that shows range and depth. Packaging and outdoor work are a strong advantage.
  • Exceptional typography, hierarchy, and layout instincts, with a clean, modern, minimal sensibility
  • Advanced command of Illustrator, Photoshop, and InDesign
  • Working knowledge of print production and packaging finishing (dielines, substrates, print specs)
  • Hands-on experience with GenAI tools in a design workflow
  • The ability to think conceptually, articulate your design decisions, and take sharp feedback well
  • A degree in Communication Design, Visual Communication, Fine Arts, or related field preferred
