Key Responsibilities

• Perform scheduled preventive maintenance of HVAC equipment.
• Inspect, clean and service AC units.
• Clean filters, coils, blowers and drain lines.
• Monitor refrigerant levels and identify leakages.
• Maintain preventive maintenance records.

Breakdown Maintenance

• Diagnose and repair AC system failures.
• Troubleshoot electrical and mechanical faults.
• Repair compressors, motors, thermostats, capacitors, sensors and valves.
• Minimize equipment downtime.

Refrigeration Equipment

Maintain and repair:

• Walk-in Chillers
• Walk-in Freezers
• Cold Rooms
• Reach-in Refrigerators
• Display Chillers
• Ice Machines
• Beverage Coolers

Safety & Compliance

• Follow HVAC and electrical safety procedures.
• Ensure compliance with food safety and fire safety standards.
• Handle refrigerants safely.
• Use PPE during maintenance.

Documentation

• Maintain service reports.
• Record refrigerant charging and gas recovery.
• Track spare parts consumption.
• Report recurring equipment issues.

Coordination

• Coordinate maintenance during non-peak hours.
• Supervise external HVAC contractors.
• Support other maintenance activities whenever required.

Candidates should have experience with:

• Split AC
• Cassette AC
• Ductable AC
• VRV/VRF Systems
• AHU
• Exhaust & Fresh Air Systems
• Cold Rooms
• Walk-in Chillers
• Walk-in Freezers
• Ice Cube Machines
• Deep Freezers
• Commercial Refrigeration Equipment

Qualifications

• ITI or Diploma in Refrigeration & Air Conditioning
• HVAC Certification preferred
• Refrigerant Handling Certification is an added advantage

Experience

• 3–6 years of HVAC maintenance experience
• Experience in QSR, Hotels, Restaurants, Retail or Commercial Facilities preferred
• Hands-on experience with commercial refrigeration equipment

Pay: From ₹40,000.00 per month
