Job Summary

The Hospital Administrator will oversee the daily operations of the hospital, ensuring efficient service delivery, regulatory compliance, and high standards of patient care. The role requires leadership, organizational skills, and the ability to manage healthcare operations effectively in a dynamic environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage overall hospital operations, administrative, and support services
  • To coordinate with liaisoning officer to ensure compliance with healthcare regulations, government policies, and accreditation standards
  • Oversee basic financial planning, and cost control measures
  • Ensure availability and maintenance of hospital infrastructure, equipment, and supplies
  • Handle patient grievances and ensure timely resolution
  • Liaise with vendors, and external stakeholders
  • To coordinate with civil contractors for timely completion of building and other infrastructure
  • Recruitment, of supportive & administrative staff
  • Ensure proper record-keeping and documentation as per legal requirements

Qualifications & Requirements

  • Degree in Hospital Administration / Healthcare Management / MBA in Healthcare
  • Minimum 3 to 5 years of experience in hospital administration or healthcare management
  • Knowledge of hospital operations, accreditation standards, and healthcare regulations
  • Good leadership, communication, and decision-making skills
  • Proficiency in hospital management software , MS Office & Excel

Preferred Skills

  • Experience working in multi-specialty hospitals
  • Familiarity with government healthcare rules and norms
  • Strong problem-solving and conflict resolution skills
  • Financial and operational planning expertise
