Position: Assistant Manager – Housekeeping (AM)
Department: Administration
Location: CGC University, Mohali
Job Summary:
We are looking for an experienced Assistant Manager – Housekeeping to oversee housekeeping operations, maintain cleanliness and hygiene standards across the university campus, and manage housekeeping staff effectively.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise daily housekeeping operations across the campus.
- Manage housekeeping staff, including supervisors, cleaners and housekeeping attendants.
- Ensure cleanliness of classrooms, offices, washrooms, hostels and common areas.
- Monitor staff attendance, duty rosters and work allocation.
- Conduct regular inspections to maintain hygiene standards.
- Manage housekeeping materials, cleaning supplies and inventory.
- Handle complaints and ensure timely resolution.
- Coordinate with the administration department.
- Train staff on cleaning procedures, safety and hygiene standards.
Qualifications & Experience:
- Graduate in any discipline.
- 5–8 years of relevant experience in housekeeping operations.
- Experience in universities, colleges, hospitals, hotels or large institutions preferred.
- Good team management and communication skills.
