Job Description

We are seeking an experienced, confident and hands-on Restaurant Floor Manager to lead and oversee all restaurant operations ensuring world-class service, smooth daily execution and unforgettable guest experiences.

This role is responsible for managing waiter teams, housekeeping, guest flow, live entertainment co-ordination and overall floor operations while maintaining Thalassa’s premium Greek-tropical brand standards.

Key Responsibilities Restaurant Floor & Service Operations

  • Oversee all dining floor activities during service hours
  • Ensure seamless coordination between waiters, runners and housekeeping
  • Monitor service speed, table turnover and guest satisfaction
  • Ensure food is served correctly, on time and as per Thalassa’s presentation standards . Handle guest feedback, special requests and escalations with professionalism.

Team Leadership & Staff Management

  • Supervise, train and motivate the waiter and service teams
  • Allocate sections, duties and rotations based on floor volume
  • Conduct daily briefings, grooming checks and service updates
  • Enforce service standards, discipline and team accountability
  • Identify training needs and maintain high service performance

Housekeeping & Ambience

  • Manage housekeeping staff to ensure: Clean dining areas
  • Well-maintained restrooms
  • Neat pathways, tables and outdoor seating
  • Maintain Thalassa’s luxury beachside presentation at all times
  • Co-ordinate quick turnarounds between guest seating

Guest Experience & Hospitality

  • Personally welcome VIPs, regulars and special guests
  • Ensure celebrations, proposals, birthdays and group bookings run smoothly
  • Handle guest complaints with empathy and efficiency
  • Monitor overall vibe, noise levels, lighting and seating comfort

Entertainment & Event Coordination

  • Coordinate with DJs, live musicians and performers on the floor
  • Ensure sound, lighting and performance timing align with service flow
  • Manage guest movement around performance areas
  • Support special event execution and themed nights

Brand Standards & Quality Control

  • Ensure all service, ambience and guest interactions match Thalassa’s premium brand image
  • Maintain staff grooming, uniforms and floor discipline
  • Enforce hygiene, safety and operational SOPs

Skills & Experience Required

  • 5+ years experience in restaurant, resort or premium hospitality operations
  • Prior experience managing large service and housekeeping teams
  • Strong leadership, floor control and guest-handling ability
  • Excellent communication and people-management skills
  • Ability to perform under pressure in high-volume environments
  • Flexible availability including nights, weekends and peak seasons
