Key Responsibilities
A. Packing Operations
- Operate automatic and semi-automatic packing machines for milk and curd products.
- Ensure proper filling, sealing, and packing of products as per company specifications.
- Verify pouch/container weight and packaging quality before dispatch.
- Ensure batch coding, manufacturing date, expiry date, and labeling are correctly printed.
- Achieve daily packing targets as per production plan.
B. Machine Operation & Maintenance
- Perform pre-operation checks on packing machines.
- Monitor machine performance during operations.
- Report any machine malfunction or abnormality immediately to the supervisor.
- Carry out routine cleaning and basic maintenance of packing equipment.
- Assist the maintenance team during repairs and preventive maintenance activities.
C. Quality Control
- Ensure packing materials conform to approved quality standards.
- Conduct regular checks for seal integrity, leakage, and product appearance.
- Segregate and report defective or damaged products.
- Follow standard operating procedures for quality assurance.
D. Hygiene & Food Safety
- Maintain cleanliness of the packing area and equipment.
- Follow Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and food safety guidelines.
- Wear prescribed Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) during operations.
- Comply with FSSAI and company hygiene standards.
- Ensure proper sanitation before, during, and after production.
E. Material Handling
- Receive and handle packing materials properly.
- Minimize wastage of packing materials and finished products.
- Ensure proper storage and handling of packed products before dispatch.
- Coordinate with production and dispatch teams for smooth material flow.
F. Documentation & Reporting
- Maintain packing production records and machine log sheets.
- Record daily output, wastage, and downtime.
- Report quality issues, shortages, or operational concerns to the supervisor.
- Assist in internal and external audits by maintaining accurate documentation.
Pay: Up to ₹25,000.00 per month
