THE ROLE

Job title: Personal Assistant to the Managing Director, UK Location: India (remote /

Bangalore city) — supporting the UK Managing Director Hours: Full time, working UK hours:

09:00–17:00 GMT (14:30–22:30 IST), with flexibility when needed Reports to: Tom Wheat,

Managing Director, PJR UK

We're looking for a sharp, energetic Personal Assistant who wants to grow with PJR, an

international ISO certification body. You'll be the Managing Director's right hand: keeping

the diary, inbox and client work moving, and taking things off their plate before they're

asked.

This isn't a "wait to be told" job. If you're organised, curious and love making things

happen, you'll learn the ISO world quickly and take on more responsibility as you go.

About us:

PJR (Perry Johnson Registrars) is an international certification body, founded in 1994. We

audit and certify organisations against ISO standards such as ISO 9001 (Quality), ISO

14001 (Environmental), ISO 45001 (Health & Safety) and ISO 27001 (Information Security).

PJR UK is the United Kingdom operation of the internationally established Perry Johnson Registrars organization. As a UKAS and ANAB accredited certification body, PJR UK provides management system certification services across a broad range of sectors, including quality, environmental health & safety, cybersecurity, aerospace, medical, and food safety. Backed by PJR's international presence and certification experience, PJR UK serves organizations seeking accredited certification services in the United Kingdom.

What you'll do:

Supporting the Managing Director

Manage the MD's diary across UK and India time zones, booking client meetings, audits

and calls

Triage the inbox, draft replies and chase actions so nothing slips

Prepare agendas, take minutes and follow up on action points

Arrange travel, accommodation and visit schedules when needed

Supporting clients and certification

Be a friendly, professional first point of contact for clients by email and phone

Track client certification cycles: audit dates, surveillance visits, recertifications and

renewals

Help process audit reports and certificates, checking they are complete and accurate

Help prepare proposals, quotes, presentations and client reports

Coordinate audit schedules between clients and auditors, including travel and logistics

Keeping the business running

Maintain the CRM, client records and shared folders so everything is easy to find

Raise invoices, chase payments and track expenses

Research prospects, standards updates and industry news when asked

Spot processes that could be done better, and suggest how

Sales and marketing

Provide sales admin: log enquiries, prepare quotes, update the sales pipeline and chase

follow-ups

Support marketing: social media posts (especially LinkedIn), email campaigns,

newsletters, website updates and event support

Keep marketing materials, case studies and client testimonials organised and up to

date

AI, GRC tools and data

Run and administer ourAI-powered GRC (governance, risk and compliance) tools,

including setting up clients, inputting data and producing outputs

Gather, clean and organise data from clients, internal systems and public sources

Build simple reports and spreadsheets on sales, audits and client activity for the MD

Stay curious about newAI tools that could make the team more efficient

Experience supporting UK, European or international clients

Familiarity with a CRM or project management tool (e.g. HubSpot, Zoho, Trello, Asana)

Experience in sales support or marketing, including LinkedIn and email campaigns

Confident using AI tools (e.g. ChatGPT, Claude, Copilot) and GRC or compliance

Good with data: Excel formulas, pivot tables, cleaning and organising data

No ISO background? Don't worry — we'll train you. Curiosity and drive count for more.
