We are looking for an experienced insurance professional who understands commercial insurance operations and can effectively handle multiple areas of the business.

Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced Commercial Trucking Insurance Specialist with a minimum of 5 years of experience in the insurance sector.

The ideal candidate should have practical experience in underwriting, claims management, and accounting, preferably within commercial trucking, commercial auto, transportation, or a related insurance segment.

This is a full-time remote position, working 5 days per week during U.S.-aligned business hours.

Key Responsibilities

• Handle and support commercial trucking insurance underwriting.
• Review insurance applications, risk information, driver and vehicle details, loss history, and supporting documentation.
• Assist with policy reviews, renewals, endorsements, and underwriting documentation.
• Handle and coordinate insurance claims, including claim reporting, documentation, follow-ups, and claim status tracking.
• Communicate with clients, insurance carriers, adjusters, and other relevant parties regarding claims.
• Assist with accounting and financial recordkeeping, including payment tracking, invoicing, reconciliations, and maintaining accurate records.
• Maintain organized records of clients, policies, claims, and financial transactions.
• Communicate professionally with trucking company owners and clients.
• Manage multiple responsibilities and ensure tasks are completed accurately and within required timelines.
• Support the company's day-to-day insurance operations.

Qualifications & Experience

• Minimum 5 years of experience in the insurance industry.
• Experience in commercial trucking, commercial auto, transportation, or related insurance is strongly preferred.
• Strong knowledge and practical experience in underwriting and claims management.
• Experience with accounting, bookkeeping, reconciliations, or insurance-related financial records.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain accurate records.
• Ability to work independently and effectively in a remote environment.
• Familiarity with U.S. commercial trucking insurance will be an advantage.
• Must be comfortable working 8:30 PM – 5:00 AM IST, 5 days per week.

Compensation

₹50,000–₹75,000 per month

Compensation will be determined based on the candidate's overall experience, insurance knowledge, commercial trucking experience, and relevant skills.

Work Arrangement

This is a fully remote, full-time position with a California-based company.

Working Hours: 8:30 PM – 5:00 AM IST
Working Days: 5 days per week

The selected candidate will work remotely while coordinating with the company's management, clients, insurance carriers, and other stakeholders in the United States.

Candidates should be comfortable working during the specified night-shift hours in India.
