Position Summary

Level: Oracle JDE Finance - Consultant, Functional Transformation

As an experienced Consultant at Deloitte Consulting, you will be responsible for individually delivering high quality work products within due timelines. Need-basis you will be mentoring and/or directing junior team members/liaising with onsite/offshore teams to understand the functional requirements.

Work you’ll do:

Maintain multiple JD Edwards EnterpriseOne releases while analyzing, customizing, and developing applications and integrations to meet business requirements. Produce design specifications, deliver on schedule, troubleshoot issues, and perform unit testing. Recommend system and performance improvements through code reviews, manage documentation, assess risks, and follow governance and change management processes.

Oracle Enterprise Solutions delivers end-to-end ERP and cloud services: strategy, business transformation, implementation, operations, and release management. We modernize core environments using Oracle Cloud SaaS, EBS, PeopleSoft, and JD Edwards to improve flexibility, scalability, and cost. Professionals work on core business projects with cross-functional leaders and C-suite stakeholders.

Must Have Skills/Project Experience/Certifications:

• 3-6 years’ experience in JD Edwards (JDE) Finance on implementation/support projects
• 3+ years implementing JDE Finance modules: Accounts Payable (AP), Accounts Receivable (AR), General Ledger (GL), Fixed Assets (FA); multi-currency required
• Strong AAI and DMAAI knowledge; product costing/manufacturing accounting preferred
• Knowledge of AP/AR integration processes
• Hands-on experience with data conversions and interface design
• End-to-end delivery across design/build: requirements, fit-gap, as-is/to-be process design, workshops, conference room pilots (CRPs), configuration, functional design, testing, and cutover
• North American client experience preferred
• Onsite-offshore delivery model experience required
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Proven client collaboration on business process enhancements
• Workstream leadership preferred
• Industry process expertise in at least one sector preferred

Good to Have Skills/Project Experience/Certifications:

• Exposure to onsite-offshore delivery models.
• Experience mentoring junior staff or leading a work stream.
• Advanced degree in a relevant area (Business, Finance, Accounting, Engineering).
• Experience in multiple industries or with additional Oracle modules.
• Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple task assignments.
• Strong oral and written communication skills, including presentation skills (MS Visio, MS PowerPoint)

Education:

• BE/B.Tech/M.C.A./M.Sc (CS) degree or equivalent from accredited university
