The Role

We are seeking a talented and proactive Software Developer with strong proficiency in Kotlin and Java. In this role, you will not just be writing code; you will be utilizing cutting-edge AI tools (such as GitHub Copilot, Cursor, ChatGPT, or Claude) to accelerate development, debug complex issues, and optimize application performance. If you are a problem-solver who leverages AI to ship better products faster, we want you on our team.

Key Responsibilities

* Application Development: Design, build, and maintain high-performance, reusable, and reliable code using Kotlin and Java.

* AI Integration in Workflow: Actively use AI coding assistants and prompt engineering to streamline day-to-day development, generate boilerplate code, and troubleshoot bugs.

* Feature Implementation: Translate designs and wireframes into high-quality code for our ongoing projects in the learning and productivity spaces.

* Code Quality: Ensure the best possible performance, quality, and responsiveness of the applications. Help maintain code quality, organization, and automation.

* Collaboration: Work closely with the product team to define, design, and ship new features in a fast-paced environment.

Requirements

* Professional Experience: 2+ years of hands-on, professional software development experience working with Kotlin and Java.

* Academic Portfolio: A strong track record of building things that matter. You must be able to showcase 2 to 3 substantial, high-quality software projects that you architected and built during your college years.

* AI Tool Proficiency: Demonstrable experience (or a very strong willingness to learn) using AI tools to enhance coding speed and quality.

* Problem-Solving: Excellent analytical skills with a knack for debugging and optimizing complex systems.

* Version Control: Solid understanding of Git and modern version control workflows.

Preferred Qualifications (Nice to Have)

* Experience with the Android SDK and ecosystem.

* A background or strong interest in developing EdTech platforms, consumer utility apps, or UI-heavy interfaces.

* Familiarity with publishing and maintaining applications on the Google Play Store.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹300,000.00 - ₹600,000.00 per year
