Jewellery CAD Designer & Customer Consultant – Remote (USA Market)

About the Role

AMERICAS DIAMOND is looking for a talented and experienced Jewellery CAD Designer who can work directly with our USA-based customers and create customized jewellery designs according to their requirements.

The selected candidate will be responsible for communicating directly with customers, understanding their requirements, discussing design ideas, creating and modifying jewellery designs, and following up until the design is finalized.

The candidate should be confident in handling live customer interactions and should have a strong understanding of USA customer preferences and jewellery design trends.

Key Responsibilities

• Communicate directly with USA-based customers through calls, online meetings, and other communication platforms.
• Understand customer requirements, ideas, preferences, and design expectations.
• Discuss jewellery designs with customers and provide professional design suggestions.
• Create and modify jewellery CAD designs based on customer requirements and feedback.
• Conduct live design discussions and revisions with customers whenever required.
• Help customers finalize their jewellery design through proper consultation and recommendations.
• Design customized engagement rings, wedding bands, earrings, pendants, necklaces, and other fine jewellery.
• Follow up with customers regarding pending feedback, design approvals, and revisions.
• Ensure timely completion of designs and maintain professional communication throughout the design process.
• Coordinate with the internal team regarding finalized designs and customer requirements.

Most Important Requirement – Understanding of USA Customers & Design Preferences

The candidate must have a good understanding of USA jewellery design preferences and customer expectations.

We are looking for someone who understands:

• USA jewellery trends and design preferences.
• Engagement ring and wedding band preferences in the USA market.
• Modern, elegant, luxury, and contemporary fine jewellery styles.
• Popular diamond shapes, settings, and design styles preferred by USA customers.
• Custom jewellery requirements and customer expectations.
• How to professionally communicate and guide USA customers during the jewellery design process.

Candidates with previous experience working directly with USA customers, USA-based jewellery companies, or international jewellery brands will be strongly preferred.

USA Time Availability – Mandatory :

Since this role involves direct communication with USA-based customers, the candidate must be available to work and communicate during required USA business hours.

The candidate should be comfortable with:

• Working according to USA time zones when required.
• Attending live calls and online meetings with USA customers.
• Being available for customer design discussions during scheduled USA business hours.
• Providing timely responses and follow-ups to customers.

Flexibility to work according to USA customer timings is mandatory for this position.

Required Skills

• Strong experience in Jewellery CAD Designing.
• Proficiency in Matrix / MatrixGold / Rhino or other professional jewellery CAD software.
• Excellent communication skills in English.
• Confidence in speaking directly with international customers.
• Ability to understand customer requirements and convert them into beautiful jewellery designs.
• Strong understanding of diamonds, gemstones, jewellery settings, and manufacturing requirements.
• Ability to handle design revisions professionally.
• Strong customer follow-up and communication skills.
• Excellent attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines.

Experience Required

Minimum 2+ years of relevant Jewellery CAD Design experience.

Candidates with experience working directly with USA customers or USA-based jewellery companies will be given strong preference.

Portfolio Requirement

Applicants must submit their Jewellery CAD Design Portfolio along with their application.

The portfolio should preferably include:

• Engagement Rings
• Wedding Bands
• Fine Diamond Jewellery
• Custom Jewellery Designs
• Previous work created for USA or international customers

Work From Home Requirements

• Personal computer/laptop capable of running professional jewellery CAD software.
• Reliable and high-speed internet connection.
• Professional setup suitable for attending customer calls and online meetings.
• Ability to communicate regularly with the team.
• Ability to meet deadlines and manage multiple customer design projects.
