CAD Designer – Kundan-Polki Jewelry Specialists Job Details Job Type: Full-time, Permanent Location: Jaipur, Rajasthan (On-site) Salary: ₹8,00,000 – ₹12,00,000 a year (Commensurate with skill level) Experience Required: 1+ years Job Summary We are an established jewelry house in Jaipur known for merging traditional heritage craftsmanship with modern design precision. We are looking for a talented and detail-oriented CAD Designer with a dedicated background in traditional Indian jewelry styles, specifically Kundan-Polki work. In this role, you will collaborate closely with our design and manufacturing teams to transform sketches into flawless, production-ready 3D models. If you have a solid year of experience navigating the intricacies of metal weights, gemstone settings, and the unique layout constraints of Polki jewelry, we would love to see your portfolio. Key Responsibilities Create highly detailed, production-accurate 3D CAD models using industry-standard software. Specialize in the technical layout of Kundan-Polki setting frameworks, factoring in appropriate wall thicknesses, foil backings, and lac (wax) volume allocations. Optimize designs for realistic metal weights (Gold/Silver) to maintain luxury quality while aligning with budget parameters. Modify and iterate existing designs based on feedback from the production floor and master artisans. Render photo-realistic 3D images of jewelry pieces for internal review and client presentations. Qualifications & Skills Must-Have (Required): Experience: Minimum 1 year of professional experience as a CAD Designer specifically within the jewelry industry. Technical Portfolio: Proven track record designing Kundan, Polki, or Jadau traditional jewelry (Portfolio review required). Software Proficiency: Mastery of Rhino, Matrix, or JewelCAD. Domain Knowledge: Strong understanding of traditional manufacturing limitations, shrinking allowances, and setting complexities specific to Jaipur's jewelry ecosystem. Nice-to-Have (Preferred): Formal degree or diploma in Jewelry Design or CAD/CAM application. Familiarity with rendering software like KeyShot for high-end visual outputs.
