Location: Charni Road, Mumbai
Job Type: Full-time, work from office
Salary: Based on experience and technical knowledge
About the Role
Reverra Jewels is looking for an experienced Jewelry Quality Control Executive to inspect diamond and gold jewelry at every stage of production—from raw materials and casting to stone setting, polishing, and final dispatch.
You will work closely with production teams and vendors to identify defects early, ensure corrections, and maintain consistent quality across all finished pieces.
Key Responsibilities
- Review job sheets, approved designs, and product specifications before production.
- Check incoming diamonds, gemstones, metal components, and findings against order requirements.
- Inspect castings for porosity, cracks, incomplete casting, dimensions, and structural defects.
- Check jewelry during filing, assembly, soldering, and pre-polishing for alignment, symmetry, joint strength, and finish.
- Inspect stone setting for security, alignment, spacing, prong finishing, and damaged or missing stones.
- Check final polishing, plating, surface finish, and overall appearance.
- Verify ring sizes, bracelet and necklace lengths, metal weights, stone counts, and other specifications against job sheets.
- Test clasps, locks, hinges, links, and other moving parts for proper function and security.
- Verify required hallmarks, engravings, and supporting documents before dispatch.
- Record defects with clear notes and photographs, coordinate rework, and reinspect corrected pieces.
- Maintain QC checklists and inspection records at each production stage.
- Identify recurring defects and work with production teams and vendors to prevent them.
- Complete final quality approval before products are packed and dispatched.
Candidate Requirements
- At least 3 years of hands-on quality control experience in gold and diamond jewelry manufacturing.
- Strong practical knowledge of casting, filing, assembly, soldering, setting, polishing, and plating.
- Ability to identify manufacturing and finishing defects using a loupe, microscope, and relevant measuring tools.
- Experience inspecting rings, earrings, pendants, bracelets, and necklaces.
- Understanding of diamond and gemstone handling, setting quality, and stone security.
- Strong attention to detail and confidence in rejecting pieces that do not meet specifications.
- Ability to communicate corrections clearly to artisans, vendors, and production teams.
- Basic Excel or Google Sheets skills for maintaining QC reports.
Preferred Experience
- Experience with both natural and lab-grown diamond jewelry.
- Experience inspecting tennis bracelets, eternity bands, solitaire settings, and stud earrings.
- Relevant training in jewelry manufacturing, gemology, or quality control.
How to Apply
Apply with your updated resume and include:
- Total years of jewelry QC experience.
- Production stages and product categories you have inspected.

- Notice period or earliest joining date.
Pay: ₹40,000.00 - ₹50,000.00 per month
Work Location: In person
