Full job description

  • Inspect arcade machines, redemption games and other gaming equipment before opening.
  • Check whether machines, card readers, sensors, displays, speakers and ticket dispensers are functioning correctly.
  • Identify and report faults before guests enter the facility.
  • Attend basic machine breakdowns during operating hours.
  • Restart or reset machines experiencing minor software or sensor-related issues.
  • Clear coin jams, ticket jams and minor mechanical obstructions.
  • Check power connections, cables, plugs, switches and fuses.
  • Maintain a daily record of machine faults and corrective actions taken.
  • Inform the Senior Technician about repeated or unresolved equipment problems.

Preventive Maintenance

  • Follow daily, weekly and monthly maintenance schedules.
  • Clean gaming equipment, internal cabinets, sensors, fans and ventilation areas.
  • Check for loose wires, damaged cables, worn-out belts and loose fittings.
  • Lubricate moving mechanical components as instructed.
  • Assist in the maintenance of bowling lane sensors, ball returns and other mechanisms.
  • Support the inspection and cleaning of shooting range equipment.
  • Ensure machines are kept clean, safe and ready for guest use.
  • Assist in tracking commonly used spare parts and consumables.

Basic Electrical and Technical Work

  • Perform basic electrical troubleshooting under the guidance of the Senior Technician.
  • Check electrical continuity, voltage supply, fuses and power connections using basic testing tools.
  • Replace damaged plugs, switches, fuses, cables and connectors.
  • Assist with basic PCB checking, cable reseating and sensor replacement.
  • Support the replacement of motors, belts, switches and other mechanical parts.
  • Carry out minor repairs to lights, fans and electrical fittings when required.
  • Follow proper electrical safety and machine isolation procedures before beginning repairs.

Repairs and Escalation

  • Diagnose and resolve first-level equipment faults.
  • Escalate complex electrical, electronic or mechanical problems to the Senior Technician.
  • Provide clear information about the fault, error message and troubleshooting already completed.
  • Assist external service technicians during repair or AMC visits.
  • Support equipment installation, testing and commissioning activities.
  • Keep machine manuals, service reports and warranty information organised.
  • Learn equipment troubleshooting procedures from suppliers and senior team members.

Facility and Safety Support

  • Inspect gaming equipment for loose parts, exposed wiring or other safety risks.
  • Immediately stop the use of any equipment that may be unsafe for guests.
  • Check soft play areas for loose fittings, torn padding or visible damage.
  • Support minor facility maintenance when required.
  • Assist the operations team during events, parties or equipment rearrangement.
  • Maintain a clean and organised technician workspace.

4. Candidate RequirementsMust-Have

  • 2–3 years of hands-on experience in a gaming zone, arcade, Family Entertainment Centre, amusement park or similar facility.
  • Experience handling or maintaining arcade machines and gaming equipment.
  • Basic knowledge of electrical wiring, switches, fuses, cables and power connections.
  • Basic understanding of sensors, motors, belts, card readers and ticket dispensers.
  • Ability to use basic tools such as a multimeter, screwdriver set, tester and spanner set.
  • Ability to identify and resolve minor electrical, electronic and mechanical faults.

Pay: ₹17,000.00 - ₹21,007.10 per month
