Job Description – Architectural DrafterPosition Summary

The Architectural Drafter is responsible for preparing accurate architectural drawings and construction documents based on design concepts, sketches, and project requirements. The role involves producing high-quality drafting work, coordinating with architects and consultants, and ensuring drawings comply with applicable building codes and project standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare architectural drawings, including site plans, floor plans, elevations, sections, details, and schedules.
• Develop complete construction document sets for residential and commercial projects.
• Prepare interior drawing sets, including furniture layouts, reflected ceiling plans, finish plans, and interior elevations.
• Revise drawings based on client, architect, and authority review comments.
• Maintain accuracy, consistency, and quality across all project drawings.
• Coordinate with structural, MEP, and other consultants to resolve design conflicts.
• Ensure drawings comply with relevant building codes, zoning regulations, and company drafting standards.
• Organize project files and maintain proper drawing documentation and version control.
• Perform quality checks before submitting drawings.
• Complete assigned tasks within established project timelines and deadlines.
• Communicate effectively with project managers, architects, and team members regarding project progress.

Required Skills

• Proficiency in AutoCAD (required).
• Knowledge of Revit is an advantage.
• Strong understanding of architectural drafting standards and construction documentation.
• Familiarity with residential and commercial building design.
• Knowledge of building codes and construction methods.
• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
• Strong time management and organizational skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.

Qualifications

• ITI, Diploma in Architecture, or Bachelor's degree in Architecture, Architectural Drafting.
• Experience preparing architectural and interior construction drawings.
• Experience coordinating drawing revisions and responding to review comments.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹35,000.00 - ₹45,000.00 per month
