Professional Experience

Role Purpose
To provide comprehensive dental care by diagnosing, treating, and managing oral health conditions while supporting senior dentists/consultants and ensuring high standards of patient care.

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform clinical dental examinations, diagnosis, and treatment planning
  • Carry out routine dental procedures such as restorations, scaling, polishing, and extractions
  • Assist senior dentists/consultants in advanced and specialty dental procedures
  • Maintain accurate clinical records, treatment notes, and consent documentation
  • Ensure adherence to infection control, sterilization, and patient safety protocols
  • Counsel patients on oral hygiene, preventive care, and post-treatment instructions
  • Handle dental emergencies and provide first-line care
  • Operate and maintain dental equipment and instruments
  • Coordinate with dental assistants, technicians, and support staff
    • Participate in clinical audits, quality improvement, and continuing education activities
