Radiographer

Job Summary:

We are looking for an experienced and skilled Radiographer to perform diagnostic imaging procedures safely and accurately. The candidate should have hands-on experience in hospital radiology services, patient positioning, image acquisition, radiation safety, and coordination with radiologists and clinical departments.

Job Role & Responsibilities :

• Perform diagnostic radiographic procedures as per physician/radiologist instructions.
• Operate and maintain radiology equipment safely and efficiently.
• Perform X-ray, portable X-ray, and other applicable imaging procedures based on departmental requirements.
• Ensure proper patient identification, positioning, preparation, and communication before procedures.
• Produce high-quality diagnostic images using appropriate technical parameters.
• Follow radiation protection and safety protocols for patients, staff, and self.
• Maintain accurate patient records, imaging documentation, and departmental registers.
• Coordinate with radiologists, doctors, nurses, and other healthcare professionals.
• Assist in emergency and bedside radiography procedures when required.
• Follow hospital infection-control and biomedical safety practices.
• Monitor equipment performance and promptly report technical issues or malfunctions.
• Ensure proper handling and maintenance of radiology accessories and equipment.
• Maintain cleanliness and readiness of the imaging area.
• Follow hospital policies, SOPs, quality standards, and applicable regulatory requirements.
• Support internal audits and quality-assurance activities within the radiology department.
• Maintain confidentiality of patient information and medical records.

Qualification:

• B.Sc. Radiography / B.Sc. Radiological Imaging Technology.
• Minimum 3+ years of hospital experience preferred.
• Good communication, teamwork, and patient-handling skills.
• Willingness to work in rotational shifts, including emergency duties when required.
