Teacher Associate – CEFR (Communicative English Future Readiness)
Location: Chembur, Mumbai | Type: Consultant 9 months
About Kotak Education Foundation (KEF)
Kotak Education Foundation (KEF), the CSR arm of Kotak Mahindra Group (Kotak Karma), has been working for 18 years to empower children and youth from low-income communities with education and skills. KEF’s initiatives focus on school interventions, scholarships, and vocational training to create sustainable impact in education and livelihoods.
Role Overview
We are seeking passionate Teacher Associates to teach spoken English to secondary school students in KEF partner schools. The role includes classroom teaching, student assessments, reporting, and contributing to training and methodology improvements.
Key Responsibilities

- Teach spoken English using KEF’s structured curriculum and activities
- Conduct assessments (pre/post-tests) to track student progress
- Maintain accurate attendance, records, and reports
- Build positive relationships with students, teachers, and parents
- Participate in team meetings and training sessions
- Contribute ideas to enhance teaching practices
Candidate Profile

- Education: B.Ed. / D.Ed. / Graduate
- Experience: 1–3 years preferred; fresher’s may apply
- Skills: Excellent spoken English, local language communication, basic computer literacy
- Attributes: Creative, patient, disciplined, effective communicator
- Other: Willingness to work in community/slum-area schools
Job Details

- Compensation: ₹23,000 – ₹35,000 per month
- Work Hours: 6 hours/day, 6 days a week (Sundays + 2 Saturdays off per month)
