Primary Responsibilities:

• Semen Analysis:
• Perform assessments of semen samples, including sperm count, motility, morphology, and viability.
• Use microscopes and other laboratory tools to ensure accurate evaluations.
• Sample Processing:
• Prepare sperm samples for assisted reproductive procedures, such as intrauterine insemination (IUI) or in vitro fertilization (IVF).
• Conduct sperm washing, cryopreservation, and thawing techniques.
• Laboratory Maintenance:
• Ensure the laboratory complies with health and safety regulations.
• Maintain and calibrate equipment to ensure optimal functionality.
• Patient Interaction:
• Collect patient medical history and explain procedures in a sensitive and professional manner.
• Assist patients in understanding fertility testing and treatment options.
• Record Keeping:
• Document laboratory results and maintain accurate patient records.
• Handle sensitive patient data with confidentiality and professionalism.
• Quality Control:
• Implement quality control measures to ensure reliability and accuracy of laboratory results.
• Participate in regular audits and inspections.
• Collaboration:
• Work closely with physicians, embryologists, and nurses in fertility clinics to provide comprehensive care.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

• Educational Background:
• Associate or bachelor's degree in biology, medical technology, or a related field.
• Certification in andrology or laboratory techniques (preferred).
• Technical Skills:
• Proficiency in operating laboratory equipment and performing microscopic evaluations.
• Familiarity with cryopreservation techniques and other fertility-related processes.
• Interpersonal Skills:
• Strong communication skills to interact with patients and team members.
• Ability to maintain professionalism and empathy in sensitive situations.
• Attention to Detail:
• Precision and accuracy in handling samples and documenting results.
• Physical Stamina:
• Ability to spend extended periods in a laboratory setting.

Work Environment:

• Typically works in fertility clinics, research labs, or hospital settings.
• May involve handling biological samples and exposure to chemicals.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹12,151.38 - ₹31,300.01 per month
