Job Title: Lab Technician – Waste Management Project

Location: Thrissur, Kerala
Department: Operations / Quality Control

About the Role

Good process control starts in the lab. We're looking for a detail-oriented Lab Technician to test, track, and analyze samples at our waste management plant — making sure every output meets the standards it should.

What You'll Do

  • Collect and test samples (input, in-process, and output) as per plant testing protocols
  • Conduct routine physical, chemical, and biological analysis (as applicable to the process)
  • Record and maintain accurate test results, logs, and quality reports
  • Flag deviations or out-of-spec results to the Plant/Process In-Charge promptly
  • Calibrate and maintain lab equipment and instruments
  • Ensure proper storage, labeling, and disposal of samples and chemicals
  • Maintain lab safety standards and cleanliness
  • Support statutory/compliance reporting related to quality and environmental parameters
  • Coordinate with plant operations team for smooth sample flow and reporting

What We're Looking For

  • B.Sc./Diploma in Chemistry, Microbiology, Environmental Science, or related field
  • 1-2 years of lab experience, preferably in waste management, biogas, effluent treatment, or process industries
  • Familiarity with basic lab equipment and testing procedures
  • Attention to detail and accurate record-keeping
  • Understanding of environmental/safety compliance standards
