CO-ORDINATES / DUTIES HANDOVER (In case of absence): DIC / Jr.Lab Technician

RESPONSIBILITY & AUTHORITY

§ Collect Blood Primarily by performing Vein punctures

§ Giving instructions to the patient for special test regarding sample collection

§ Trains and provides leadership to new/existing employees

§ Reports quality issues and procedural deviations to Quality Assurance and Management

§ Ensuring that the patient is as comfortable and relaxed as possible and confirming their agreement to the collection of a blood sample.

§ Ensuring samples are stored in appropriate containers.

§ Accurate, legible labelling of all samples to confirm patient identity.

§ Recording collection of blood sample in patient record in accordance with practice procedure.

§ Ensuring that samples are dispatched to the appropriate laboratories in a timely fashion.

§ Ensuring that anomalies are reported to a senior member of staff.

• To identify the non conformance and take corrective & preventive action & report to department in charge.
• Ensure that patient confidentiality is maintained at all times.
• Act as auditee during internal audit of the lab
• Provide any valuable inputs to the management for better and quality service by the organization.
• Maintain work ethics and team building in the department.
• Collect feed backs and complaints from users and communicating the corrective actions, if required to users.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹30,000.00 - ₹45,000.00 per hour
