Position: Lab Technician

Reporting To: Incharge

Role Purpose:

Enabling excellence in patient care by meticulously collecting samples and carrying out tests and analysis using appropriate instruments, methods and procedures, thereby assisting physicians in accurately diagnosing and effectively treating diseases.

key responsibilities of Lab Technician are:

• Collecting, receiving, labelling & storing samples (blood, tissue etc.). Doing In-House and O.P.D. collections of samples for the assigned section.
• Examining and approving samples other professionals collect
• Preparing lab reagents and standard solutions for tests
• Maintaining a clean and safe working environment. Organizing and storing all chemical substances, fluids according to safety instructions
• Carrying out laboratory testing according to standard procedures to ensure consistency, reliability and usefulness of results.
• Using automated equipment and computerized lab instruments to perform several tests simultaneously

· Performing quality control and calibrating equipment if necessary

· Making observations and interpreting findings and entering test results in worksheets.

• Recording all data and results in specified forms (paper and electronic) with accuracy and responsibility
• Preparing & checking lab reports after typing.
• Dispatching lab reports.
• To perform any other duties as and when instructed by the Incharge.

The Individual: (qualification and experience)

Essential

• B Sc MLT/ Bachelor’s degree in chemistry or biology
• 1+ years of relevant experience
• A valid license to work as a lab technician

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹30,000.00 per month
