About Cimpress Technology
Cimpress Technology develops cutting-edge, best-in-world software that our mass customization businesses use to create personalized products for over 17 million global customers. Our Mass Customization Platform consists of modular, multi-tenant services. Our businesses can choose the solutions that work for them or assemble any custom combination they need. This makes it easier and faster to do things like introduce new products, reach customers, and track orders. And this kind of innovation keeps customers coming back. Cimpress generated $3.29 Billion in revenue through customized print products, signage, apparel, packaging and more.
Job Overview :
Cimpress businesses and their in-house/third-party vendors (fulfillers) manufacture customized products that help our end-customers make an impression. In fulfilling the demand for such customized products, we are not only faced with the fulfillment problems like any other ecommerce company, but also have the challenge of manufacturing and delivering products unique to each customer’s needs, on time and at the lowest possible cost.
We are seeking a Project Manager to join our Fulfillment Organization. You will be responsible for executing critical projects and ensuring the smooth delivery of technology initiatives. In this role, you will drive project schedules, facilitate cross-functional communication, and ensure the successful implementation of fulfillment programs under the guidance of senior technical program managers.
What you’ll be doing :
-
Drive Project Execution: Manage the day-to-day execution of targeted fulfillment and engineering projects. You will maintain project schedules, track dependencies, and ensure milestones are met on time.
-
Cross-Functional Collaboration: Operate across the organization, helping to bridge the gap between Global Fulfillment Executives, Plant Operations, and Core Engineering. You will coordinate meetings, gather technical requirements, and ensure all contributing teams are perfectly aligned on deliverables.
-
Drive Clarity in our Domain: Ensure our organization is clear on our current and upcoming investments, latest status, blockers, and what success means. You will maintain project documentation and provide regular, actionable status updates to stakeholders.
-
Support System-Level Outcomes: Assist in monitoring feedback loops and governance models to ensure that our technical initiatives drive tangible business outcomes.
-
Identify and Escalate Risks: Proactively monitor project health, identifying potential bottlenecks or risks early and escalating them to principal leaders or stakeholders with proposed solutions.
What will make you a Great Candidate
-
Experience: 2 to 4 years of Project Management or related experience. Plus if you’ve had exposure to complex systems in fulfillment, supply chain, logistics, or e-commerce manufacturing environments.
-
Comfortable in the “Gray”: Proven ability to navigate ambiguous initiatives. You can take high-level directions, ask the right questions to find clarity, and help guide the team toward sound, well-documented decisions.
-
Communication & Influence: Strong written and verbal communication skills. You can distill product strategy, technical architectures, and fulfillment constraints into clear updates for your team and leadership.
-
Team Player & Self-Starter: While this role does not require direct people management, it requires strong lateral leadership and the ability to work highly autonomously to keep projects moving forward.
-
Balance a Bias for Action with being a guardian of our Product: We are building the next great Fulfillment product to serve a variety of businesses in Cimpress. Most projects we run are through the deployment of our Product. We want to execute quickly on projects, but not in a way that detracts from building a high integrity, quality software system.
What’s in it for You
-
Impact: Contribute to a core capability that determines how Cimpress manufactures and fulfills orders at scale for the next decade.
-
Culture: Be part of a remote-first, product-and-technology-driven culture with deep ownership and autonomy.
-
Growth: Scale your career as a project management professional within a $3B+ revenue organization, with ample opportunities for mentorship from senior leaders.
-
Trust: Work in a system that empowers members with the highest degree of freedom and an impeccable culture
Why You will Love Working Here
We encourage our engineers to think like owners – to continue to act small as we grow. Every team defines their own roadmaps, and uses the programming languages and technologies that suit them best. This helps us have a big impact at the enterprise level while still feeling small and nimble. We have a Remote-First operating model and culture, with team members in over 15 countries and 30 US states, offering autonomy and the flexibility to work from home. Cimpress also provides collaboration spaces for team members to work physically together.
