About the Role

CrowdStrike's Global Legal Team is seeking a Legal Data and Automation Analyst to join our Legal Operations team in Pune. This role is pivotal in supporting our department's digital transformation strategy through automation, workflow improvement and data-driven insights.

This analyst will bring a product owner and software development mindset to Legal Operations — treating internal tools, data pipelines and automation workflows as products that require disciplined development, clear ownership and continuous improvement. The ideal candidate is a self-starter who thrives in a fast-paced environment, is comfortable working within structured development practices and brings both technical expertise and strategic thinking to their work.

Location: Pune, Hybrid

Shift: 5pm - 2am

What You’ll Do

• Build and maintain data solutions, reporting, and visualizations that provide actionable insights and support decision-making.

• Automate workflows and build internal tools using Google Apps Script, JavaScript, HTML, and CSS.

• Own data and automation solutions end-to-end, from requirements and design through deployment, maintenance, and continuous improvement.

• Build and maintain reliable data pipelines and integrations across enterprise systems, ensuring data quality and integrity.

• Use GitHub and disciplined development practices, including version control, code reviews, testing, and change management.

• Build and maintain API-based integrations that connect Legal tools, enterprise systems, data sources, and automation platforms.

• Integrate and maintain AI agents, bots, and LLM-powered solutions within Legal workflows and existing enterprise systems.

• Partner with Legal Operations, IT, and other teams to deliver scalable solutions and clearly communicate project progress, priorities, and dependencies.

• Identify and implement AI and automation opportunities that reduce manual effort and improve Legal team efficiency.

What You'll Need:

• 8+ years of professional experience in analytics, automation, software development or a similar technical role

• A product owner or software development mindset — comfortable owning a backlog, writing requirements, managing iterative delivery and treating internal tools as products

• Proficiency in Google Apps Script, JavaScript, HTML and CSS

• Hands-on experience with GitHub or similar version control platforms

• Demonstrated experience designing and maintaining data pipelines in a structured development environment

• Strong experience with BI tools for data preparation, dashboard development and storytelling with data

• Experience creating curated datasets from multiple data sources, including platforms such as Snowflake

• Hands-on experience connecting and maintaining AI tools, automation bots or LLM-based integrations within enterprise workflows — including managing API connections and monitoring integration health

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to explain complex technical subjects to non-technical audiences

• Strong project management skills, including documenting progress and maintaining clarity on critical dependencies, timelines and goals

• High attention to detail, client-service mindset and ability to handle confidential information with discretion

• Curiosity and enthusiasm for learning and applying new technologies, especially in the areas of automation and AI

Bonus Points:

• Experience in legal operations, legal workflow automation or supporting in-house legal teams

• Familiarity with Python, R or other scripting languages

• Understanding of APIs, automation protocols or experience connecting cloud-based tools
