Assistant Librarian

Location: Amity University Patna, Bihar

Eligibility & Requirements:

  • Master’s Degree in Library & Information Science (MLIS) / relevant qualification
  • Relevant experience in a University/College/Academic Library preferred
  • Knowledge of library operations, cataloguing, classification and digital library systems
  • Good communication and coordination skills
  • Proficiency in computer applications and library management software

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage day-to-day library operations
  • Support students, faculty and researchers with library resources
  • Maintain books, journals, records and digital resources
  • Assist in cataloguing, classification and circulation activities
  • Coordinate with faculty and departments for library requirements
