Job Description
Responsibilities: Coordinate the transportation, distribution, and timely delivery of goods to meet operational requirements. Monitor shipment schedules, track deliveries, and resolve any discrepancies to ensure on-time fulfillment. Maintain accurate inventory levels and update records in ERP or relevant systems. Communicate with vendors, suppliers, and internal teams to address logistics challenges and operational issues. Support initiatives to optimize logistics processes, enhance efficiency, and reduce operational costs. Prepare and maintain reports on logistics performance, identifying trends and areas for improvement. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement best practices and ensure seamless supply chain operations.
The global ocean team manages end-to-end (E2E) ocean and air freight operations, focusing on:

- E2E Visibility & Booking Management: Ensuring smooth execution from forecast to booking and shipment confirmation.
- Risk Mitigation & Operational Excellence: Addressing disruptions like port congestion and capacity constraints while driving process efficiency.
- Carrier Performance & Invoice Monitoring: Managing carrier compliance, validating invoices, and reducing duplicate charges.
- Ocean Transformation Program (Ocean 2.0): Automating processes from demand generation to execution, enabling data-driven decisions and no-touch booking-to-invoicing workflows.
- Air Freight Control: Minimizing air freight leakage and optimizing air spot processes.
