About the Role

We are looking for a creative and experienced Assistant Editor to join our editorial team and drive the creation of engaging fashion, lifestyle and wedding-focused content.

The role will involve managing cover stories, magazine issues, editorial features and content production from concept to execution. The ideal candidate should have a strong understanding of fashion and luxury, excellent writing and interviewing skills, and the ability to work closely with celebrities, designers, stylists, photographers, merchandising and digital teams.

Key Responsibilities

1. Cover Story Management

• Own the end-to-end planning and execution of monthly cover stories.
• Identify and onboard relevant and trending celebrities, designers and personalities who align with the brand.
• Develop compelling story concepts and interview narratives.
• Conduct interviews and write/edit the final cover story.
• Coordinate with internal and external stakeholders including celebrities, PR teams, photographers, stylists and creative teams.
• Ensure timely delivery of cover stories in line with the editorial calendar.
• Contribute to increasing brand reach, engagement, followership and commercial impact through strong editorial storytelling.

2. Magazine & Editorial Production

• Manage the end-to-end editorial production of quarterly magazines.
• Conceptualise and write compelling fashion, wedding, lifestyle and luxury-focused articles and features.
• Research trends, personalities, designers, brands and relevant cultural developments to develop fresh editorial content.
• Work closely with the design team to conceptualise story-specific page layouts and visual treatments.
• Review page designs and supervise execution to ensure consistency with the editorial theme and quality standards.
• Suggest enhancements to improve content presentation, readability and overall editorial appeal.
• Coordinate with the Merchandising team to source relevant content and inputs for advertisements and brand features.
• Work with Social Media and SEO teams to adapt and optimise editorial content for digital platforms and maximise reach.
• Ensure all editorial content is accurate, engaging, factually sound and delivered within agreed timelines.

Candidate Profile

We are looking for someone who:

• Has 4–7 years of relevant experience in editorial, fashion media, luxury lifestyle, publishing, digital content or a similar environment.
• Has excellent writing, editing, interviewing and storytelling skills.
• Possesses a strong understanding of fashion, luxury, weddings, celebrities and lifestyle trends.
• Has experience managing content projects from concept through final publication.
• Is comfortable interacting with celebrities, PR agencies, designers, photographers and other external stakeholders.
• Has a strong eye for visual presentation, typography, layouts and editorial aesthetics.
• Can balance creativity with strong execution and attention to detail.
• Is comfortable working across multiple stakeholders and managing tight editorial timelines.
• Has a strong understanding of digital content and basic SEO/social media content requirements.

Preferred Background

Candidates from fashion magazines, luxury publications, lifestyle media, fashion houses, digital fashion platforms, premium publishing houses or luxury brands would be preferred.

A portfolio of published articles, interviews, cover stories or other editorial work will be an advantage.
