Job Description – Hospital Operations Manager

We are looking for an experienced and proactive Hospital Operations Manager to oversee the day-to-day operations of our hospital. The ideal candidate will ensure smooth functioning of IPD & OPD services, patient admissions and discharges, billing coordination, patient counselling, and overall patient satisfaction.

Qualification:

• Bachelor's Degree in Hospital Administration, Healthcare Management, Nursing, Physiotherapy, Life Sciences, or a related field.
• MBA (Hospital Administration) / MHA will be an added advantage.
• 3–7 years of experience in hospital operations or healthcare administration.
• Immediate Joining Preferred.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage the complete day-to-day operations of IPD and OPD services.
• Oversee patient admissions, transfers, and discharge processes.
• Coordinate with Doctors, Nursing, Physiotherapists, Reception, Billing, Pharmacy, and Housekeeping departments.
• Ensure smooth patient flow and excellent patient experience throughout the hospital.
• Counsel patients and their families regarding hospital services, treatment plans, billing, and discharge procedures.
• Handle patient complaints and resolve operational issues promptly.
• Coordinate with the billing team to ensure accurate billing and timely discharge.
• Monitor bed occupancy and daily hospital operations.
• Ensure proper patient documentation and compliance with hospital policies and SOPs.
• Prepare daily operational reports and communicate updates to management.
• Support quality initiatives, patient safety standards, and continuous process improvement.

Experience:

• Minimum 3 years of experience in Hospital Operations, Patient Relations, Front Office, or Healthcare Administration.
• Experience in Rehabilitation Hospitals or Multi-specialty Hospitals will be preferred.
