Role Description The Operations Manager will be responsible for overseeing day-to-day operations across multiple facility management and business support service contracts to ensure service quality, compliance, and client satisfaction. This full-time, on-site role based in Bengaluru will coordinate teams involved in cleaning, security, utilities, maintenance, and other facility operations, ensuring smooth workflows and timely delivery. The role includes planning and scheduling manpower, monitoring SLAs and KPIs, conducting site inspections and audits, and implementing process improvements for efficiency and cost-effectiveness. The Operations Manager will work closely with clients to understand their requirements, address escalations, and prepare periodic operational and performance reports. Additional responsibilities include vendor coordination, adherence to statutory and safety standards, budget monitoring, staff training and development, and supporting business growth through continuous improvement and best practices.

Qualifications

  • Strong operations and facilities management skills, including planning, budgeting, resource allocation, and performance monitoring.
  • Experience in managing multi-site service delivery teams in areas such as cleaning, security, utilities, and maintenance.
  • Knowledge of quality, safety, and compliance frameworks (e.g., EMS, QMS, OH&S) and familiarity with statutory and regulatory requirements.
  • Excellent stakeholder management and client-facing skills, with the ability to handle escalations and maintain long-term relationships.
  • Proficiency in data analysis, reporting, and use of MS Office or similar tools to track KPIs and operational metrics.
  • Strong leadership, people management, coaching, and conflict-resolution abilities.
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills in English; additional local language proficiency is an advantage.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Operations, Business Administration, Facilities Management, Engineering, or a related field; relevant certifications in facility or operations management are a plus.
